Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority’s ‘Only in Abu Dhabi’ Promo by CNN Create
This social campaign was designed to showcase the city as an exceptional travel destination through the perspectives of local creatives and innovators. A 60” film was self-shot on an iPhone by tour guide Nada Badran, guiding viewers through her favourite cultural spaces, nature spots, and hidden gems.
By eliminating international travel - typically our largest source of emissions - and collaborating with a trusted local producer to support the talent, fulfil the brief, and secure necessary film permits we significantly reduced our overall environmental impact. Streamlining crew size and travel logistics also led to a substantial reduction in preparation time.
Additionally, we produced another film from the campaign during the same week, allowing the producer to remain on location for the duration of both shoots.
“We carefully planned the story with the talent, keeping the shoot smooth and aligned with our goals”
Jeremy Burdock, Senior Post Producer & Editor CNNCreate
