Introducing the AI Footprint Builder [Webinar Recording and Summary]
Watch as we unveil a new feature designed to help you populate your Final Footprints with information faster, using your production paperwork. The real time demo shows us selecting 11 documents representing a dummy shoot - a mix of invoices and receipts, plus a call sheet, which the AI Footprint Reader scans, resulting in 21 activities being generated for our Final Footprint.
Plus we talk a little about why we've used AI for this feature, even though it also has an inherent carbon footprint too - and how we've accounted for this.

Why we built the AI Footprint Builder
Creating a complete Final Footprint often means gathering information from countless production documents, from call sheets and hotel grids to invoices, receipts and transport bookings. We know production teams are short on time, and that manual data entry can be one of the biggest barriers to both starting and completing a footprint. The AI Footprint Builder has been designed to reduce that burden, helping users turn existing production paperwork into suggested footprint activities faster and more consistently.
How it works
The webinar includes a full, real-time demonstration of the feature in action. Using 11 documents from a fictional production, we show how the AI Footprint Builder scans, anonymises, classifies and then populates activity forms ready for review. In the demo, those documents result in 21 suggested activities across areas including transport, accommodation, catering, workspaces and generators. Importantly, users remain in control throughout, reviewing, editing, reclassifying or removing suggestions before saving them to a Final Footprint.
Security, transparency and environmental impact
We know many users have questions about AI, particularly when it comes to security and environmental impact. That's why the webinar explores exactly how the feature handles data, including the anonymisation process, what information is automatically redacted, and how long any data is retained. We also explain how the AI Footprint Builder measures and records its own estimated CO2e impact, helping users account for the emissions associated with using the feature itself as part of their overall production footprint.
